PraC-MARENG Plus Project Presented at the 5th E-Learning Days of the University of Rijeka

The Erasmus+ funded project PraC-MARENG Plus – PRActical and Communication-based MARitime ENGlish was presented during the 5th E-Learning Days organised by the University of Rijeka on 26 February 2026.
The event gathered educators, researchers, and experts in digital learning to exchange ideas on innovative teaching practices and the future of e-learning in higher education. During the event, the PraC-MARENG Plus project was introduced as an initiative that aims to strengthen practical communication skills in Maritime English, particularly for port and shore-based personnel.
The project focuses on a practice-oriented and communication-based approach aligned with the Standard Marine Communication Phrases (SMCP) and supports the digital transformation of maritime education and training through the development of interactive digital learning modules and scenario-based learning materials.
The presentation highlighted the project's objectives, partnership structure, and its expected impact on maritime education, training providers, and the wider maritime industry.
By participating in events such as the E-Learning Days, PraC-MARENG Plus continues to promote collaboration between maritime education institutions, industry stakeholders, and digital learning experts across Europe.
