PraC-MARENG Plus Needs Analysis Survey
Welcome to the PraC-MARENG Plus Project Survey.
Effective communication between ship and shore is critical for the safety, security, and efficiency of maritime logistics. While standard maritime training often focuses on ship-to-ship interaction, the PraC-MARENG Plus project aims to address the specific language needs of Shore–Port Communication.
The goal of this survey is to identify the real-world challenges faced by professionals in port environments such as VTS operators and agents to stevedores and terminal operators. We are investigating whether current general English competence is sufficient or if specialized training is required to prevent operational delays and safety risks.
Your feedback is essential. The data collected here will directly guide the development of a short, practice-oriented training course featuring real-life scenarios and simulations.
